Belotero Balance is a smooth hyaluronic acid filler that blends naturally into your skin. It's firm enough to soften deeper smile lines, yet gentle enough for delicate areas like the fine vertical lines above the lip, for soft, even, natural-looking results.
How it works
Belotero Balance is made of hyaluronic acid (HA), a substance your skin already produces naturally. HA attracts and holds water, so when it's placed beneath a line or fold, it gently fills it in for immediate, smooth correction.
What sets Belotero apart is how it integrates into the skin. It spreads evenly within the tissue and adapts to your facial contours, so results look soft and natural, never lumpy or overdone.

What to expect
- Free consultationWe look at the lines that bother you and recommend the right filler. Belotero is ideal for fine lines and soft correction, and we may suggest another filler for deeper volume.
- TreatmentThe filler is injected with a very fine needle. Many HA fillers contain lidocaine, a numbing agent, for added comfort. Treatment usually takes 15–30 minutes.
- Right afterYou'll see a smoother result right away. Mild swelling, redness or small bruises at the injection sites are common and usually fade within a few days.
- Lasting resultsResults typically last several months to about a year, depending on the area treated and your skin. Touch-ups help maintain your look.
Before your treatment
- Avoid aspirin, anti-inflammatory medicines, fish oil and vitamin E for about a week, unless your doctor has told you to take them
- Avoid alcohol for a day or two beforehand
- Let us know if you've had cold sores around the mouth, any allergies, or previous filler
These steps help reduce the chance of bruising.
Aftercare
- Avoid touching or massaging the area unless we've told you to
- Skip strenuous exercise, saunas and alcohol for 24 hours
- Avoid extreme heat or cold until any swelling settles
- Cold compresses can help with mild swelling
